San Francisco Officials Plan to Block Apple Procurement
Many corporations and governments have EPEAT compliance as a requirement for purchasing equipment. This will take some sales from Apple, but I don’t think it would be many, or they wouldn’t have taken this step.
To be clear, Apple stuff is still recyclable, it’s just a little harder to do now that everything is glued and hard to take apart.
